LOS ANGELES (AP) - Tom Ramsey threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Jojo Townsell with 2:38 left for the victory.
Townsell, who was the Jets' No.3 draft pick, signed with the Express last Friday. Townsell's reception completed a seven-play, 61-yard drive. A defensive back, Bobby Hosea, intercepted Dan Manucci's pass at the Arizona 40 with 1:42 left to help protect the lead.
Ramsey completed 11 of 14 passes for 101 yards. Mike Rae, the starting quarterback, scored a touchdown and completed 12 of 20 passes for 115 yards.
